About Kimberly
Kimberly White is a global art admissions strategist, fine artist, and arts education leader with over 20 years of experience spanning international admissions, portfolio development, and creative education.
She most recently served in a senior leadership role in international admissions at Ringling College of Art and Design, where she reviewed and evaluated thousands of student portfolios and applications across multiple disciplines, working with students from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Her work involved not only assessing artistic ability, but determining how portfolios align with the expectations and decision-making criteria of highly selective art and design programs.
Kimberly holds a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London and a First-Class Honors degree from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London—two of the most competitive and respected art institutions globally.
In addition to her admissions leadership, Kimberly has an extensive background as a professional artist, art educator, and examiner. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has spent years teaching, mentoring, and developing curriculum across a wide range of student levels. Earlier in her career, she served as an Art and Art History Examiner for the U.K.’s national examination board, assessing student work and academic performance at a formal, standardized level.
Kimberly also served as Executive Director of a large arts organization, where she led program development, managed teams, oversaw operations and budgets, and expanded access to arts education across the community. Her leadership combined creative vision with operational execution, building programs that served diverse populations and elevated regional arts engagement.
This combination of experience—artist, educator, examiner, and admissions decision-maker—gives Kimberly a uniquely comprehensive perspective. She understands not only how to create strong work, but how that work is interpreted, evaluated, and selected within competitive admissions environments.
Today, she works privately with a select number of students and families globally, providing high-level guidance in portfolio development and admissions strategy for leading art and design schools.
